About the Speaker
Laurie has extensive experience in the service industry. She started her career waiting on tables, and with the help of strong coaches, worked her up to senior positions within the accommodation sector. Prior to taking on her current role as General Manager at the Mere Hotel on Waterfront Drive in Winnipeg, she was the National Director of Sales & Marketing and then the Director of Training & Professional Development for a national hotel management company based right here in Winnipeg. Laurie is also a professional speaker and author of “Customer Service from the Inside Out”.
