Join us for an invigorating session about the importance of risk management for volunteer managers presented by Judith Cameron from Volunteer Manitoba. Together we will learn how to identify, assess, and evaluate areas that could potentially be a risk or a threat for our volunteers and our organizations. In addition, we will discover to implement procedures and policies to avoid or minimize their impact.
About the Trainer - Judith Cameron Ms. Cameron is Volunteer Manitoba’s Manager of Training and Development and has over 25 years of experience as both a Human Resources Consultant ,corporate trainer and volunteer administrator. She has delivered seminars and workshops on a number of topics including; Board Roles and Responsibilities, Governance Methods, Team Building, Volunteer Recruitment and Effective Meeting Strategies. Ms. Cameron works with clients to help build efficient, effective and progressive organizations. She has delivered career and employment counseling sessions throughout rural and Northern Manitoba, and she has provided human resources consultations for the Empress Hotel in Victoria, B.C., the Royal York in Toronto, and Sam Lord’s Castle in Barbados. She has also designed recruitment protocols and procedures for law enforcement agencies in the United States. Ms. Cameron was the recipient of the Premier`s Volunteer Service Award in 2006 and was also named Volunteer of the Year with Community Futures East Interlake.
