“Resource Roundup”
Needing to update your Photo Release Form for groups? Interested in increasing the engagement of newcomers but not exactly sure of the best approach? Reviewing your privacy policies and processes and looking for best practices? Information on these and many other topics you may be researching can be found in new resources published in the past year or so by Volunteer Canada. We often have the best intentions to check them out, but with limited time this doesn’t always happen. Register for the October 8th MAVA PD Event, which will offer a quick overview of the resources and highlight key information, templates and tips from each as well as provide the opportunity to share ideas with other members on topics like these that are on your ‘to do list’ this Fall. “NEW IMAGE FOR CAVR!” CAVR underwent a branding process which will ultimately place the association in a better position to advocate, as it will enhance the profile of CAVR and strengthen the work that our members do. We are now ready to share the results with you. New name, new logo and new image! This new brand is clearer, more concise and better conveys who we are, as well as being an image that demonstrates professionalism. To give you a better idea, we have created a mock-up page of what our website would look like http://www.cavrcanada.org/_Library/New_Website/Front_Page_Mockup.pdf
