Peggy's background is Palliative Care, and she worked as a Palliative Care Community Home Care Nurse with VON for 10 years. Peggy has been an active member of MAVA since 2006. She started on the Professional Development Committee and then moved on to become the PD Chair liaison in 2007. She has since been appointed to the position of Vice President for 2009 -2010.
Peggy is also the Director and head instructor of the Plum Blossom Martial Arts Academy, and teaches Kung Fu to Adults & Kids and Tai Chi at various community agencies.
As President, she looks forward to assisting the Board in moving MAVA and the profession of Volunteer Management forward.
