Corrie Lawrence Memorial Fund
The Corrie Lawrence Memorial Fund was established in 1992 to honour the memory of Corrie Lawrence, an active MAVA member who died suddenly. The Corrie Lawrence Memorial Fund is intended for educational activities and professional development of MAVA members. These activities could include a bursary for MAVA workshops or the conference held every 2 years.

Outstanding Service Award for Leadership of Volunteers
The Outstanding Service Award for Leadership of Volunteers was first launched in 1996 to recognize a MAVA member who contributed significantly to the profession through their leadership, creativity, knowledge and integrity.
